Part 2: Refund of SAF Levy

In certain circumstances, part of the Skilling Australians Fund Levy may be refundable to the employer. This includes situations where a person leaves their employment less than 12 months after employment commenced, and in the case of a Subclass 494 Visa, a pro-rata refund of the lump sum SAF levy which was paid with the nomination.

Part 3: Attaching documentation

Please attach to this form:

  • Photo Identification showing name of the person from the company who is authorised to claim the refund (drivers license, passport etc);
  • Your bank details for the refund to be paid into (name of account; BSB; account number);
  • A bank statement which proves that the bank account belongs to the business;
  • A copy of the terminated employee’s resignation letter or termination letter;
  • A copy of the employee’s final payslip.
