Queensland State Visa Sponsorship Re-Opens!

Business and Skilled Migration Queensland (BSMQ) is the State Government department with authority to issue nominations for the Subclass 190 and 489 Visa.

In February, BSMQ announced it had to suspend the program until July 1, due to heavy demand for nominations, and a lack of available places.

But now, BSMQ has announced they have received NEW quota; and has re-opened three of their Nomination Lists again, for Onshore Applicants for 190 and 490 Skilled Visas.

• Working in Queensland  – for people who are already working in their nominated occupation in Queensland;
• Masters Graduate – for people who have graduated from a Queensland University with a Masters Degree; and who are currently working in their nominated occupation;
• PhD Graduate – for people who have graduated from a Queensland University with a PhD.
